Acer Predator 21X the World’s First Curved Screen Notebook

Acer takes the plunge and its big. The computer hardware maker has announce Acer Predator 21X which is the world’s first cured screen notebook. This comes barely months after NVIDIA released Desktop Graphics Processing Units (GPUs) for the Laptops.

Suddenly all this meant that Gamers had now got the option of getting the much needed power that comes with Desktops all packed into laptops which are ideal for gaming on the go.

The one area that Desktops still reigned supreme is their ability to mod the hardware rigs. This meant that Desktop users were the only ones that have the choice of ultra-wide curved screens. Well not any more. Acer has now changed the game.

What Does the Acer Predator 21X Bring to the Table

First and most visible is the new flagship gaming laptop. The Acer Predator 21X notebook comes with a curved screen and integrates eye-tracking technology. Internally it comes packed with processing power that includes a 7th Generation Intel Core processor, 5 cooling fans and dual NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 GPUs in SLI mode.

It then comes with SoundPound 4.2+ which is 4 speakers and 2 subwoofers, 3-way audio and Dolby Audio for that immersive sound experience and a full size mechanical keyboard. The keys are LED lit with colors that can be customized. Next to that keyboard there is a glass panel that allows the gamer to see that led lit under the hood components.

The number pad on the right can be removed and flipped over to reveal a track pad. The curved screen comes with a 2560 x 1080 resolution IPS screen that has a 21:9 aspect ratio.
