- First, we need to get the shortcut for the app that you want to run at startup. Do this by selecting the Start button on your Windows 10 Desktop. Scroll to find the app you want to run on login.
- Right-click the app, select More and then select Open file location. This will open the location where the shortcut to the app is on your system.
Note: If you don’t see an option for Open file location, it means the app can’t run at startup. Otherwise, proceed to the next step. - As you keep the file location open, on your keyboard, press the Windows logo key + R, type
shell:startup
, then select OK. This will open the Startup folder. - Finally, copy and paste the app shortcut from the file location to the Startup folder. Close both folders.
