Boost Version 1.81.0 release has been announced for general availability. This is the last version of the year that comes with several fixes and improvements.
Boost is a collection of peer-reviewed portable C++ source libraries that are made available for free to download and use in a variety of applications with little to no restrictions.
This version sees the introduction of Boost.URL. This is a new library that isused for for parsing, modifying, and printing URLs using only C++11. Features include fast compilation, strong invariants, and strict compliance using a memory-friendly approach.
Locale library has a major update with some breaking changes while Container Hash, Histogram, and Unordered libraries have gotten major updates as well. Stacktrace library no longer uses COM initialization.
The following libraries have also been updated: Asio, Beast, Core, Describe, Filesystem, Fusion, Geometry, Iterator, JSON, LexicalCast, Nowide, PFR, STLInterfaces, System, Variant, and Variant2.
