The new Clang 3.8 Release is Out

The release of the latest version Clang 3.8 has been announced and is now available for immediate download and use. The new version of the cross platform open source C, C++ and Objective-C frontend comes with a number of new features.

What’s New in Clang 3.8?

Clang 3.8 comes with a bunch of new compiler flags in addition to improvements to the diagnostics. There is also improved passing of strict type alignment information to LLVM. Clang’s backend.

There are a few changes in the C language with several OpenCL 2.0 features being added as well as OpenMP 3.1 being fully supported
