This year’s annual Computex Taipei 2016 expo will be taking place between the 31st of May and June 4, 2016. The conference will be taking place over an array of venues over the entire expo period.
Computex Taipei is also known as the Taipei International Information Technology Show. It is an annual computer expo inaugurated in 1981. It is usually held in various venues in Taipei, Taiwan.
Highlights of Computex Taipei 2016
The core theme of the expo is “Building Partnerships in Internet Computing Ecosystems”. Based on that, the Computex Taipei 2016 theme will be split into four main areas. These are “IoT technology application”, “Innovation and startups”, “Business Solution” and “Gaming”.
The venues will be spread across the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center and Taipei World Trade Center. The Taipei International Convention Center will be the third location for the expo.
The expo will include a B@B ICT trade show which is geared towards connecting the ICT industry from manufactures to consumers. There will be information on building startup ecosystems as well. Finally, the best of IoT technology platforms will also be showcased.
Not to be underplayed is the assortment of exhibitors that will be showcasing their products.
Major exhibitors will include major players like Acer, ABB, and Advantech. Others such as Asus, Audi, and BenQ. Haier, Hisense, HTC, Intel, Mercedes-Benz, and Microsoft among others will be there. This is by no means a comprehensive list of exhibitors.
In addition to these over 200 startups from 20 countries are expected to grace the event.
