This is not exactly new information that the CppCon 2016 the C++ conference will be held at the Meydenbauer Center in Bellevue, Washington from September 18th to 23rd of the same month.
CppCon can be described as the week long conference where newbies and experienced C++ programmers alike can come to horn their skills on the latest techniques from other leading experts. This conference is organized by the C++ community for the community.
What are the Highlights of CppCon 2016?
To start off there will be a bunch of pre-conference classes between the 17th and the 18th on the following topics:
- The C++ Core Guidlines
- Concurrent Thinking in C++
- Crafting Embedded Software in C++
- Modernizing Your C++
- Programing with Qt/Widgets
- Using C++ for Low-Latency Systems
While that is still being absorbed into your system there will be a field trip to the Living Computer Museum. There will then be a week of talks and panels from invited speakers as well as presentations by the C++ community.
To get things into high gear will be a string of Lightning talks consisting of short and less formal talks. Finally there with be a time of relaxation and socializing.
