CRYENGINE 5.3.3 Release is now Available for Download

CRYENGINE 5.3.3 Release has been announced and is now available for download. This version comes in as a minor release therefore comes with more of improvements and fixes to the game engine.

CRYENGINE is a powerful free and open source game engine. It comes royalty free and supports immersive VR experiences, real-time developments, lifelike characters, audio and all the bells and whistles you would expect of a game engine or 3D animation development environment.

What’s new With This CRYENGINE 5.3.3 Release

This version marks the launch of the new C# Rolling Ball template. This is a game template for those not familiar with C# development in CRYENGINE. The Sydewinder project has been removed and made a standalone download from the CRYENGINE Marketplace. Sydewinder focuses on programming-driven game development and presents an endless side-scrolling game with a high score counter.

Under the Audio subsystem a MS compiler auto-vectorizer bug which was causing illegal instructions in mpeg code has been fixed.

CMake no longer downloads unnecessary debug DLLs or PDBs to bin/win_x64. Also under the same compiler detection for VS2017 has been fixed.
