AfricaCom 2022 Event Set for Cape Town

AfricaCom 2022, the number one event where the entire ecosystem meets to shape Africa’s digital future in African telecoms and technology. It is the business and technology incubator for the architects of Africa’s digital culture.

With over 15,000 attendees, 450 speakers across 20 tracks and over 400 exhibitors.

Highlights include the AfricaCom Awards and Afterparty, AFEST, the main networking party at AfricaCom. There will be Headline Keynotes, Connecting Africa’s Next Billion, Digital Infrastructure Investment, Telcos of Tomorrow, Sustainable Development & Green ICT, and Future Visions: Web3, The Metaverse & Beyond.

On the agenda is AfricaCom Centre Stage: Exploring business critical content at the centre of the action in the AfricaCom Expo Hall. Discussions on Delivering on the promise of affordable, reliable, sustainable African internet Connectivity.

Digital Infrastructure: Investment discussions centering around ensuring infrastructure investment remains at the top of Africa’s tech agenda, as the centrepiece of the 4IR. Next te event will feature tracking the evolution of African telecoms from critical connectivity, hardware innovation to superapps and beyond.

Also on the agenda is the Green ICT & the Sustainability Challenge Unpacking the ICT sector’s energy challenge, and the innovators and pioneers striving for a greener Africa.

Finally there will be the AfricaCom Ministerial Summit 2022. This champions African governance, regulation & leadership that drives fair and progressive development.
