Three Days of VR, Video Games and Interactive Tech at OrlandoiX 2016

The OrlandoiX 2016 kicks of today and continues up to the 16th of October 2016. The venue of this annual event is the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida.

OrlandoiX is about celebrating and recognizing the creators of video games and virtual reality applications and technologies as well as immersive experiences and other interactive technologies.

The event welcomes both professionals and casual consumers experience hundreds of activities.

Highlights of the OrlandoiX 2016 Event

There will be a host of talks and presentations from industry leading professionals amounting to 48 sessions on various topics from 96 speakers.

Attendees who can be anyone from game developers, digital entrepreneurs, creative directors, digital media executives, investors, marketers and brand directors in digital can get hands on with the gaming tournaments, networking opportunities and entertainment.

There are also demo’s on various technologies as well as the dedicated game developers conference.

Also included is the Unreal Engine workshop which will teach the basics of developing games and VR applications in Unreal Engine 4. This is ideal for beginner developers. Unreal is developed by Epic Games.

Battling to be crowned King of the geek bands is the 2016 Battle of Geek Bands which will be hosted at the Kickoff Party on Friday, October 14 at Wall Street Plaza in downtown Orlando. This is where the tech industry workers prove they musical skills in this competition featuring the 2015 champions Soundwaves among others.
