A browser helper object or BHO is a DLL module for the Internet Explorer browser that extends its functionality. They can be used for spyware as well as legitimate purposes. You must do your research when deciding whether or not to remove any of these as some may be legitimate. Browser helper object is still; supported in Windows 10 with Internet Explorer 11 but not Microsoft Edge.
