Fedora Linux is an open-source Linux distribution developed by the Fedora Project and sponsored primarily by Red Hat. it contains a mix of software distributed under various free and open-source licenses. It serves as the upstream source for Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
It is officially released in five different editions: Workstation, Server, CoreOS for cloud computing, Silverblue for immutable desktop specialized to container-based workflows and, IoT for IoT devices.
