Inkscape

Inkscape is a Free and open source vector graphics editor for Linux, Windows and macOS systems. Even though several graphics file formats can be imported and exported, Inkscape is used to create vector images, primarily in Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG) format.

Inkscape was released in 2003 and started as a code fork of the Sodipodi project. Today it is popularly used artistic and technical illustrations including but not limited to typography, clip art, logos, cartoons, shapes, diagramming, flowcharting, and much more.
