MHz or megahertz is a unit of frequency defined as one million (10 to the 6th power) Hertz (Hz) or cycles per second. These units are used in the description of sine waves and musical tones, especially in radio and audio-related applications. In computing, it is used to describe the clock speeds at which computers and electronics are driven.
