It uses Fedora Linux as its upstream source and officially supports the following architectures: x86-64, Power ISA, ARM64, and IBM Z, and a desktop version for x86-64. Red Hat Enterprise Linux is developed by Red Hat for Enterprise customers and was initially released on February 22, 2000.
