Universal Plug and Play, also known as UPnP is a set of networking protocols that allow networked digital devices, such as personal computers, printers, Wi-Fi access points, and mobile devices to seamlessly discover each other’s presence on the network and establish functional connections and communications. Universal Plug and Play assume the network runs Internet Protocol (IP) and leverages HTTP.
