GParted 1.2 Release now With Support For exFAT File-System

GParted 1.2 release is now available with added support for exFAT File-System using exfatprogs, the the user-space components maintained by Samsung kernel engineers.

GParted is a free GNOME partition editor used for graphically managing operating system disk partitions. It allows you to resize, copy, and move partitions without data loss.

GParted can be used on x86 and x86-64 based computers running Linux, Windows, or Mac OS X by booting from media containing GParted Live.

This lightweight tool requires a minimum of 320 MB of RAM to take advantage of all of the features of the GParted application.

The modern more stable and improved exFAT file-system driver from Samsung is available since Linux 5.7, replacing the earlier exFAT driver and is widely used on Android devices and other devices.

This update also comes with bug fixes, and language translation updates.
