Horizon Zero Dawn: The Frozen Wilds is the Horizon Zero Dawn add-on released on November 7th, 2017.
This DLC brings a region on the border of Banuk into the game. The region is just beyond a mountain pass just north of the Grave-Hoard. Aloy still remains the single playable character in the game.
The Horizon Zero Dawn: The Frozen Wilds Plot
The plot center around Aloy who’s journey takes her to the peak of a mysterious mountain called Thunder’s Drum. These are times when most of the Banuk’s skilled fighters have been killed in a recently failed expedition to the mountain.
The Werak’s Chieftain plans to send in more hunters for another expedition. With new machines showing up and the disappearance of Werak’s spiritual leader, Ourea, The tribe’s people are dejected and it is up to Aloy to complete this quest.
