KDevelop 5.0.0 Release has Been Announced

The KDevelop team has announced the immediate availability of KDevelop 5.0.0 Release. This release comes two after the previous major release back in 2014.

KDevelop is a free and open source integrated development environment (IDE) for developing applications in C++, Python, PHP and JavaScript/QML programming languages primarily in Linux.

Highlights of KDevelop 5.0.0 Release

C and C++ code analysis is now performed by Clang. In addition, KDevelop 5 has now been ported to KDE Frameworks 5 and Qt 5.

QML/JavaScript is now officially supported as is the case with QMake projects.
