Mafia 3 stylized as Mafia III is a video game developed by Hangar 13 and published by 2K Games. It is released for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Microsoft Windows and macOS platforms. This is the third game to be released off the Mafia series of action-adventure games.
The game was released on October 7, 2016, as a single player game played in third person perspective. The game is heavily story based and is set in an open world scene.
Mafia 3 the Plot
Mafia 3 is set in 1968 in the city of New Bordeaux, which is basically a recreation of the real world New Orleans. The main protagonist is an orphan and Vietnam veteran, Lincoln Clay. He is on a quest to build a new criminal organization to take on the Italian mob.
The game is made lively with an array of weapons and additional muscle which can be summoned to assist in tight conditions. One can go in guns blazing or use stealth tactics. Gun action, as well as combat, is part of the game. Even the alligators get in on it. Throw a person into the swamp and sooner or later a hungry gator will come calling.
After returning from the war Lincoln Clay now a member of the Black has to contend with Haitian gangs as well as and the Marcano crime family which he is indebted to.
After a successful Heist and a betrayal that leaves him for dead, the now scarred Lincoln later recovers to recruit allies in his quest for revenge and destruction of those responsible for killing his friends and leaving him half dead.
Without revealing too much, it would be better to get hands-on with this game and take control in the quest that Lincoln finds himself in.
