Make a Date with Otronicon 2017 at the Orlando Science Center

Yes, its that time of the year again when all roads lead to the theme park capital of the world Orlando, Florida for the annual Otronicon 2017 science and technology convention at the Orlando Science Center. So if you are looking for something to do over the weekend, this is it

Otronicon the name is derived from (O)rlando Elec(tron)ic (I)nteractive Entertainment (Con)vention. This event kicks off today the 13th of January and will run up to the 16th of the month.

This family friendly convention focuses on the way we live, learn, work and play with digital media technologies including video games, virtual reality, robotics, simulation, interactive technologies and digital media.

This Central Florida event includes workshops, keynotes addresses, panels and exhibits from a wide area covering science, technology, engineering and math (STEM).

What to Expect at the Otronicon 2017 Convention

For the video gamers out there, there will be classic arcade games machines to relieve the old days. There will also be sampling of Indie games. For those wanting to take things a step further, you will get a chance to get hands-on with Medical and Military simulators and robotics implementations.

Visitors will get to learn more about space exploration and related technologies. You will also get to learn more about how technology advancements are used in the medical field.

Attendees should not forget to check out the ArcAttack musical tesla coil show and explore the wonderful things you can get do with robotics, lighting, magnetism and electricity… in no particular order.
