Prey is a new video game released on 5th May 2017 after the 2006 video game of the same name. It was developed by Arkane Studios and Human Head Studios and published by Bethesda Softworks.
Prey is based on the CRYENGINE 3D game engine and is released on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Microsoft Windows platforms.
The game is an Action-adventure game played in Single-player mode.
What’s Interesting in the Prey Video Game
The game is played in an alternate timeline where US President John F. Kennedy did survive the assassination attempt. The result is more funding into the space program which sees highly advanced space technologies and infrastructure in play.
Then there is an Alien race of multiple species called Typhon that attacks earth. A battle takes place between the Aliens and an alliance of the USA and USSR with the goal of capturing Typhon and keeping things out of the knowledge of the general human population and the use of Kletka which is Russian for a prison to be used to lock up the captives.
Fast forward to 2032 where Morgan Yu, the player is recruited to join TranStar on Talos 1. The new name for Kletka after the company acquired it decades after the fall of the USSR and after some deaths of scientists in a 1980 incident.
From here on the player takes on various missions as guided by the video game and you the player take this role to the best of your ability.
