A patch release of Qt 5.12 LTS, in Qt 5.12.2 has been announced for general availability. Being a patch release, this version is focused more on bug fixes rather than new features.
With over 250 bugs fixed over the previous release, it is advisable that users upgrade to this new version.
Qt is a cross-platform application development framework for desktop, embedded and mobile. It also extends the C++ language with features like signals and slots.
Users can update to Qt 5.12.2 via the maintenance tool of the online installer. New installations of Qt can be downloaded from the official download page here.
For those with commercial licenses, you can get your copy from the Qt Account Portal. Those still using Qt 5.6 LTS should upgrade to Qt 5.12.2 LTS as Qt 5.6 Support ends in March 16th, 2019.
