Test Drive Your Copy of Qt 5.7.0 Release Candidate

Just over a month after the Beta hit the Qt download servers, we now have Qt 5.7.0 Release Candidate that has been announced for general availability.

Qt is a cross-platform application framework written in C++ programming language and has bindings mainly in Python and JavaScript. It comes licensed in both the Qt commercial license as well as the GPL 3 open source license.

The first versions were developed around an abstract GUI, signal and slots. Today Qt has evolved to be much more. The framework has continued to evolve in line with current trends and the user requires of the modern technology users. One of those iterations in the growth of Qt is mentioned in this announcement.

Highlights of Qt 5.7.0 Release Candidate

This is the last update before the final stable version expected to come out in a few weeks from now. This version comes with several fixes over the Beta version. Performance and optimizations have been added to make this version a more stable release.
