UNIGINE 2.12 Release has been announced for general availability and is now stable enough for use in production projects.
UNIGINE 2 Engine is a real-time 3D engine geared towards enterprise and technology enthusiasts. it boasts photorealistic graphics ideal for large virtual worlds and is built with C++ and C# API.
It comes with 3 SDK editions for different needs and industries namely the Sim SDK, the Engineering SDK, and the Community SDK.
The highlights of the new UNIGINE 2.12 Release include improved particle simulation with advanced control, 2x physics performance optimization, and better clouds and atmosphere improvements.
Advanced control over Landscape Terrain details with a new Earthworks demo, .NET Core 3.1 integration and C# API improvements as well as Multiple IG and Syncker improvements. Included, there are also new content add-ons that consist of the airport and industrial assets.
Other improvements include improved particle systems, motion texture support, ability to control emission color, translucency effects for particles, advanced landscape terrain details control, detail masks dithering, cloud system improvements and physically correct haze, tiling-free clouds, looped animation smoothing, materials loading modes, specular anti-aliasing, and a new Earthworks demo.
