A cursor or pointer is an indicator used in computer user interfaces such as monitors or other display devices to show the current position of user interaction with the task at hand. The indicator here is usually represented as an arrow in the default state.<\/p>\n
Based on the function or the software the user is interfacing with, the cursor may change shape and form to reveal other functionality. For example in a web browser, the cursor may change to a vertical beam when hovered over text and change to a hand when hovered over a hyperlinked item.<\/p>\n
