BioWare is currently working on the next Mass Effect game likely to be launched earliest 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This information comes in part according to a <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/BrenonHolmes\/status\/1471970950023241729\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">post on Twitter<\/a> by Brenon Holmes who is a producer working on the game.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\"><p>BioWare is hiring talented programmers with UE4\/5 experience! Both have asked for experience with <a href=\"http:\/\/local.brightwhiz\/tag\/unreal-engine\">Unreal Engine<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mass Effect: Andromeda used Electronic Arts&#8217; own Frostbite engine while the original Mass Effect trilogy and the recent remaster collection, Mass Effect: Legendary Edition used Epic Games&#8217; Unreal Engine 3. Mass Effect: Andromeda had to be switched to Electronic Arts&#8217; Frostbite engine as part of executives&#8217; push on behalf of the publisher to have every internal studio using Frostbite.
