{"id":1371,"date":"2016-01-25T13:04:28","date_gmt":"2016-01-25T10:04:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sobbayi.com\/?p=1371"},"modified":"2024-02-20T10:34:13","modified_gmt":"2024-02-20T07:34:13","slug":"llvm-3-8-0-release-candidate-1-available-for-download","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/local.brightwhiz\/llvm-3-8-0-release-candidate-1-available-for-download\/","title":{"rendered":"LLVM 3.8.0 Release Candidate 1 Available for Download"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>LLVM 3.8.0 Release Candidate 1 has been announced and made available for immediate download in the form of sources and binaries even though all binaries for all platforms are not yet out.<\/p>\n<h2>Here&#8217;s What&#8217;s new in LLVM 3.8.0<\/h2>\n<p>This compiler infrastructure with sets of reusable libraries comes with a few notable features that are worthy of mentioning here.<\/p>\n<p>First off support for Windows Vista and XP is no longer there. For those on the <a href=\"http:\/\/local.brightwhiz\/tag\/windows\/\">Windows<\/a> platform, you will need your minimum Windows version to run LLVM being Windows 7.<\/p>\n<p>The Autoconf build system is now deprecated as well as quite a large number of C API functions that are now history.<\/p>\n<p>There is a refactoring of C API headers. You can get a more detailed list of the changes on the release notes page here.<\/p>\n<p>You can go in and download this C and C++ compiler from the official website.
