Dying Light the Following was released on February 9, 2016, as a standalone expansion for the open-world first-person survival horror game Dying Light.

The game was released for the next gen consoles of PlayStation 4 and Xbox One as well as Microsoft Windows.

Dying Light the Following was developed by the Polish game developer Techland and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment.

The game features single player and multiplayer modes and uses Techland’s propriety Chrome Engine 6 game engine. Other games that feature this engine include the 2015 release of Dying Light as well as Hellraid.

The game is a zombie apocalypse-themed games with all the gore you would expect out of such a game. Basically, the players in this game scavenge for sheer survival while completing various missions.

Just like prior releases, there is plenty of the usual scaling of walls and ledges and occasional or should I say more frequent pipe works. There is quite some driving you will be doing and a little of swimming here and there.

There is a choice of weapons that can be picked up or crafted and these include guns, machetes, clubs and anything else you can conceive of.

Dying Light the Following does not disappoint as it is entertaining and the graphics are to die for (Pun intended).

Don’t take our word for it. Go on over to the official game website to get more details about this expansion.

The Dying Light Plot
