This release comes with a host of updated libraries which includes added features and bug fixes.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Boost is an collection of cross platform and <a href=\"\/\/local.brightwhiz\/tag\/open-source\/\">open source<\/a> <a href=\"\/\/local.brightwhiz\/tag\/cplusplus\/\">C++<\/a> source <a href=\"\/\/local.brightwhiz\/tag\/libraries\/\">libraries <\/a>used to build high quality applications. It promotes code reuse, fewer bugs and quicker development timelines. Some of the libraries within <a href=\"\/\/local.brightwhiz\/tag\/boost\/\">Boost <\/a>have already been included in the C++11 standard and more have been proposed for inclusion in the C++17 standard.<\/p>\n<h2>Highlights of the Boost 1.63.0 Update<\/h2>\n<p>Several of the libraries have been updated and these include <strong>Atomic<\/strong> with improved conformance with C++17 and support for Oracle Studio. <strong>Container<\/strong> and <strong>Context<\/strong> have a few bug problems taken care of. <strong>Fiber<\/strong> has a few performance improvements and new classes included.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Fusion<\/strong> has gotten a few fixes and improvements so is the same <strong>Geometry<\/strong>. Hash, <strong>Interprocess<\/strong>, <strong>Intrusive<\/strong> and <strong>Lexical Cast<\/strong> also get much needed fixes. <strong>Log<\/strong> gets bug fixes and new features added to it while <strong>Metaparse<\/strong> and <strong>Move<\/strong> also gets some improvements as is the case with <strong>Optional<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Phoenix<\/strong> and <strong>Python<\/strong> now have added support for C++11. <strong>Test<\/strong> gets some bug fixes while <strong>TypeIndex<\/strong> has gotten some improvements added. <strong>Units<\/strong> also gets some improvements while <strong>Unordered<\/strong> gets some bug fixes as well as fixes.<\/p>\n<p>For the complete list of additions and details on the improvements and fixes please visit the official Boost release page <a href=\"http:\/\/www.boost.org\/users\/history\/version_1_63_0.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile you can download Boost 1.63.0 from the official download page <a href=\"https:\/\/sourceforge.net\/projects\/boost\/files\/boost\/1.63.0\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Boost 1.63.0 has been announced for general availability.
