This new version generally comes with two significant fixes.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\/\/local.brightwhiz\/tag\/rust\/\">Rust<\/a> is a <a href=\"\/\/local.brightwhiz\/tag\/systems\/\">systems <\/a>programming language with growing popularity and interest and is focused on safety, speed, and concurrency.<\/p>\n<p>A soundness bug in the new <strong>vec::IntoIter::as_mut_slice<\/strong> method has been fixed as well as a regression where certain C components of the Rust distribution were not compiled with <strong>-fPIC<\/strong> as explained <a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/rust-lang\/rust\/pull\/39523\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a>.
