KDevelop, was first released in December 1999. Along the way, it has made great strides to be a leading Integrated development environment on Unix like operating systems.<\/p>\n
KDevelop 5.0.0 now released as the first public Beta, was originally intended to be used on the KDE desktop environment.<\/p>\n
This is a free and open source software integrated development environment (IDE) for the KDE Platform on Unix-like computer operating systems which uses GCC or Clang as its compiler. KDevelop supports various programming languages including C, C++<\/a>, Python<\/a>, PHP<\/a>, and others.<\/p>\n The current Beta release is built on Qt 5 and KDE Frameworks 5 (KF5).
