The latest Boost 1.70.0 has been announced for general availability and is now available for download. The release comes with new libraries, several major updates, performance and bug fixes.<\/p>\n
The open source Boost<\/a> 1.70.0 C++ libraries release comes with two new libraries namely Outcome and Histogram respectively.<\/p>\n Outcome<\/strong> is for reporting and handling function failures in contexts where directly using C++<\/a> exception handling is unsuitable.<\/p>\n Histogram<\/strong> is a library which is basically fast and extensible multi-dimensional histograms with a convenient interface for C++14.<\/p>\n Libraries which have significant updates include Asio, Beast, DLL, Dynamic Bitset, Filesystem, Integer, Log, Math, Mp11, Multi-index Containers, Multiprecision, PolyCollection, and Spirit.
