The new QEMU 5.1.0 release has been announced for general availability with over 2500 commits from 235 authors. It comes with a host of fixes, improvements, removed, and new features.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
QEMU<\/a>, short for Quick EMUlator is a free and open-source emulator and virtualizer that can perform hardware virtualization<\/a>. It is a hosted virtual machine monitor that emulates the machine’s processor through dynamic binary translation.
