This release brings the release of <a href=\"http:\/\/local.brightwhiz\/tag\/php\">PHP 8.0<\/a> much closer to the expected November 26 release date after a handful of Beta releases and Release Candidate issues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>PHP 8 is the next major release to PHP, the widely used programming language with new features such as PHP JIT and more performance optimizations, <a href=\"http:\/\/local.brightwhiz\/tag\/json\">JSON<\/a> becoming part of PHP core, improvements to the PHP GD imaging <a href=\"http:\/\/local.brightwhiz\/tag\/libraries\">library<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/local.brightwhiz\/tag\/cryptography\">cryptographic<\/a> message syntax support within PHP <a href=\"http:\/\/local.brightwhiz\/tag\/openssl\">OpenSSL<\/a>, and PHP Zip improvements, among other enhancements.
