It is official, the Qt 6.0 feature freeze milestone has been reached edging ever so close to the planned December 2010 release date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In an announcement<\/a> by the developers, the work on the next major version of Qt<\/a> has reached its next significant milestone. This milestone has seen all the planned functionality for Qt 6.0 set in place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Other upcoming significant milestones for this release are as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n The developers and the opensource<\/a> community here on throughout the following months will be focused on polishing and tuning the release as well as fixing bugs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Qt 6.0 and higher is expected to take Qt users into the new decade in its future strategy which can be found in this post<\/a> by Lars Knoll, Chief Technology Officer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
