RenderDoc 1.13 release has been announced for general availability mainly as a maintenance release featuring several bug fixes plus new features on Vulkan and D3D12<\/p>\n\n\n\n
RenderDoc is a stand-alone graphics debugger that allows quick and easy single-frame capture and detailed introspection of any application using Vulkan<\/a>, D3D11, OpenGL<\/a> & OpenGL ES, or D3D12 across Windows 7 – 10, Linux, Android, Stadia, or Nintendo Switch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n This version comes with changes to the Python<\/a> API around the primitive topology and APIEvent callstack. Some of the new features and improvements include some tweaks to the dark theme and an additional quick bookmark toggle to the context menu in the event browser.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Under D3D12 there is added support for nvapi wrapped\/hooked PSO creation functions. Within OpenGL, there is added handling for ARB_clip_control when displaying in mesh viewer and texture viewer. The following extensions have been added to the Vulkan support VK_KHR_zero_initialize_workgroup_memory VK_KHR_workgroup_memory_explicit_layout (not currently supported in shader debugging), and VK_KHR_synchronization2.<\/p>\n\n\n\n For these and all the bug fixes included in RenderDoc 1.13 release please visit the official release notes here<\/a>.
