Why you Need the Zoho Mail Server Settings

Why would you need to have the Zoho mail server access credentials when you can simply log onto the webmail interface. Well, it is simple. Convenience. To use those third-party email clients with Zoho you will need to do some configuration within the client and the following are the details you would need.

Zoho Mail IMAP Server Details

You can configure your standard IMAP client for Zoho mail with the configuration details.

Incoming Server Settings (Personal)

Use this for personal users with an email address under the Zoho domain, [email protected]:

Zoho Mail IMAP Incoming Server Name: imap.zoho.com
Zoho Mail IMAP Port: 993
Require SSL: Yes
Username: [email protected]

Incoming Server Settings (Organizations)

For organization users with custom domain-based email addresses such as [email protected].

Zoho Mail IMAP Incoming Server Name: imappro.zoho.com
Zoho Mail IMAP Port: 993
Require SSL: Yes
Username: [email protected]

Outgoing Server Settings:

Zoho Mail IMAP Outgoing Server Name: smtp.zoho.com
Zoho Mail IMAP Port: 465 with SSL or
Zoho Mail IMAP Port: 587 with TLS
Require Authentication: Yes

Zoho Mail POP Server Details

Incoming Server Settings

Use this for personal users with an email address under the Zoho domain, [email protected]:

Zoho Mail POP server address: pop.zoho.com (for personal accounts with Zoho domain)
Zoho Mail POP server address: poppro.zoho.com (for organizations using own domain name)
Zoho Mail POP port: 995
Require TLS/SSL: Yes
Username: [email protected] or [email protected] when using your own domain name)

Outgoing Server Settings:

Use the same SMTP server details as the Outgoing server settings for Zoho IMAP settings above.
