Call of Duty: WWII is the latest first-person shooter video game from the Call of Duty franchise developed by Sledgehammer Games and Raven Software, and published by Activision. This makes this game the fourteenth one in the series.
This single-player, multiplayer action game was released worldwide on November 3, 2017, for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Microsoft Windows platforms.
The game returns to the Call of Duty roots and is now set in the European theatre of World War II, also known as the Second European War. This is the huge area of heavy fighting across Europe during the war.
The Call of Duty: WWII Plot
The player the U.S. Army Private First Class Ronald “Red” Daniels of the 1st Infantry Division takes part in the Normandy landings with his platoon. This is June 6, 1944.
Another notable character is Private First Class, Robert Zussman. He is stabbed by a German soldier, resulting in his hospitalization for several weeks. He returns in time for Operation Cobra, where American forces successfully reclaim the town of Marigny.
A few operations and two months later, Zussman is captured and sent to a concentration camp based on his Jewish heritage, while Daniels gets injured in the process.
A couple of more operations later the concentration camps are liberated and Zussman is saved.
The game involves using a host of weapons from World war two error, battling enemies from the air, in tanks, and on foot.
