Mid August sees the kick off of the Game Developers Conference Europe (GDC Europe 2016). The annual convention will be taking place at Congress-Centrum OST Koelnmesse, Cologn, Germany. The dates are set for 15th to 16 August 2016.
The Game Developers Conference Europe is the largest gaming industry event in Europe focusing on the professionals.
Highlights of GDC Europe 2016
The convention will consist of a variety of conference sessions as well as an exhibition. The conference will have sessions consisting of game development topics taught by industry experts.
This content will be divided into 4 tracks namely Design Track and Production Track. Then there will be the Business Marketing and Management Track and finally the Programming Track. You can find more details on them here.
GDC Europe 2016 will be held in parallel with Gamescom the event for video and computer games. Gamescom will be showcasing the present and the future of digital entertainment in our society. Learn more about Gamescom here.
There will also be the Independent Games Summit focusing on indie game developers. The sponsored Game developer days will not be left out where attendants can take full day programming courses.
