NVIDIA CodeWorks for Android 1R4 is now available for download. This is an upgrade over the previous version released about a month ago.
This highlight of this new update is that it now comes with added support for the latest Android M (Marshmallow)
What is NVIDIA CodeWorks for Android 1R4?
NVIDIA CodeWorks for Android 1R4 is a full set of GPU and CPU tools. These tools include but are not limited to debugging profiling and system trace capabilities. Also included are accompanying SDKs and libraries for Android development.
So What’s New in 1R4?
The new features in this release include updates to the latest versions of Android NDK, SDK, and the Build/Platform Tools. Additional updates to Nsight Tegra 3.3, Visual Studio Edition comes with the 1R4 release.
Tegra Graphics Debugger 2.1 and Tegra System Profiler 2.5 also get updates all including support for Android-M with various performance improvements and bug fixes. For the latter there now support for NVTX (NVIDIA Tools Extensions) on the 64-bit process.
Other modules that come with support for Android-M includes PerfKit 4.5 and NVIDIA GameWorks OpenGL Samples 2.11.
IncrediBuild 7.1 for Visual Studio now with full integration into Microsoft Visual Studio 2015.
