Mozilla announces the release of rr 4.3.0 the open source record and play debugging tool. This is a debugging tool that records and plays application execution. It is totally free to download and use.
What’s Different in rr 4.3.0?
With rr 4.3.0 you get debugging support for AVX (YMM) registers, Optimizations for traces doing heavy I/O and expanded Syscall support. Also included is many bug fixes and performance enhancements.
Support for Ubuntu 16.04, Fedora 24 and latest grsecurity kernels is now built into the tool. You can visit the official download page on Github and get yourself a copy of the source code.
