Samsung Issues Global Recall on Galaxy Note7

Samsung released a statement about the state of the Samsung Galaxy Note7 battery reports. Apparently the new devices have been having issues with batteries and the smartphone maker revealed that they have received 35 cases and are looking into the issue.

The company has issued a voluntary global recall of every Galaxy Note7 device which will be replaced with a brand new one.

Samsung in their statement reiterated that customer safety is a priority. It would be an irresponsible risk to allow these devices with possible faulty batteries to continue to be used by consumers out there.

Samsung is working with the battery manufacturer to investigate and come to the root of the issue at hand. Further sales of the Galaxy Note7 have also been stopped until further notice.

The Issue With Galaxy Note7 Batteries

The reports coming in state that the mobile phone can catch fire while being charged but this is yet to be confirmed by Samsung pending their investigations.
