Instructions on How to Display WooCommerce Store Notice

This quick tutorial will guide you on how to use the WooCommerce feature that allows site owners to display custom messages to the public . This feature is call a store notice. it is usually used by store owners to communicate to their clients about informational messages, promotional messages, or anything you want to communicate to your visitors. At the end of this tutorial you will be able to display WooCommerce Store Notice with ease.

WooCommerce is a popular e-commerce plugin for WordPress CMS. It allows site owners to turn their websites into an e-commerce store for digital and physical products, subscriptions, bookings and members, and much more.

Display WooCommerce Store Notice in Supported WordPress Site

  1. Sign in to the WordPress Admin Dashboard
  2. Go to: Appearance > Customize > WooCommerce > Store Notice
  3. Create the Store Notice: Type a message in the text area then check the box labelled Enable Store Notice to enable the displaying the message to visitors.
  4. Click on Publish: Click on the Publish button to save the message

Schedule a WooCommerce Store Notice

  1. Go to: Appearance > Customize > WooCommerce > Store Notice
  2. Create or Edit the Store Notice: Type a message in the text area then check the box labelled Enable Store Notice to enable the displaying the message to visitors.
  3. Select the gear wheel: Click on the gear wheel next to the Publish button. A panel opens.
  4. Select the Schedule option: Select the schedule option to open the date and time picker panel where you can enter your preferred date and time.
  5. Click on Schedule: Click on the Schedule button to schedule your message

Note: Removing the notice does not automatically stop any related promotions from running. You need to disable them explicitly. These could be anything like sale discounts, coupon codes, or limited time offers.
