Dlib 19.1 Release C++ library has been announced for general availability. This free and open source library is available for use on multiple platforms.
Dlib is a C++ library containing advanced machine learning algorithms and tools. Dlib is ideal for creating complex software in C++ to solve real-world problems.
Dlib is highly capable in industry domains ranging from embedded devices to robotics. It is also ideal for mobile phones and large high-performance computing environments.
The library which requires minimal external dependencies is supported on Microsoft Windows, Linux, and Mac OS X. It will also work on POSIX systems including Solaris, HP-UX, and the various flavors BSDs.
Highlights of the Dlib 19.1 Release
The current Dlib 19.1 Release has been upgraded to use cuDNN 5.1. Due to a bug in this version of cuDNN, it is not completely backward compatible with cuDNN 5.0, therefore, you will have to upgrade that too until further notice.
The rest of the updates are minor bug fixes and performance enhancements. You can download a copy of the current Dlib toolkit from the official download page here.
