The Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series is a video game developed and published by Telltale Games and distributed by Marvel Entertainment. It is an episodic graphic adventure video game series based on Marvel’s comic books of the same title.
The game was released in April 2017 for Android, iOS, Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. The game built on the Telltale Tool game engine is played in single-player mode.
Like other games built using the same game engine, this adventure has the player making decisions that guide the conversation and gameplay riddled with quick-time events and cutscenes.
What’s in the Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series Game?
It features the main characters including Star-Lord, Gamora, Rocket Raccoon, Drax the Destroyer, and Groot. The player takes on the role of Star-Lord but occasionally makes the switch to take up a minor role as either of these other characters.
The game kicks off with a distress call from Nova Corps needing the help of the Guardians of the Galaxy on the nearby planet of Kree where they are being hammered by Thanos, the Mad Titan. Fast forward there is a confrontation between the Guardians and Thanos and Rockets special gun takes him out.
After a heavy celebration and a mammoth tab, they decide to sell Thanos’s corpse to pay off the bill. The story takes up another direction from here. To get the details we recommend getting yourself a copy of this saga to get the full experience.
