The video game of the same title as the movie Ratchet and Clank was released in April 2016 after a year’s delay for PlayStation 4. This followed the previous game of the same name that was released over a decade before for the PlayStation 2 platform back in 2002.
Ratchet and Clank is developed by Insomniac Games, the same developers of other famous titles such as Spyro and Resistance. Sony Interactive Entertainment is the game’s publisher.
Ratchet and Clanks is a Single-player, Platformer, third-person shooter video game. The game revolves around the two main characters a Wombat named Ratchet and a Defective robot named Clank.
The video game runs at 1080p resolution and the action is limited to 30 frames per second. The gameplay is based on a story Captain Quark is telling Shiv Helix, a prisoner. He tells of Ratchet’s attempts to make it through the Galactic Ranger tryouts but does not make it based on a background check.
Meanwhile, on Quartu, Chairman Drek is plotting for intergalactic war with Dr. Nefarious making a whole bunch of warbots with one being defective.
The plan was to destroy the defective robot but he escapes in an effect to warn the galactic rangers and as fate would have it he meets up with Ratchet. In a nutshell, the action takes off from there and the rest is up to you. The player.
