TypeScript 3.9 release has been announced for general availability and can be installed using NuGet, npm, Visual Studio, or Visual Studio Code.
This version comes with speed improvements to the compiler and editing experience in addition to several bugs fixes and reduced crashes.
Compile times are now reduced by 5-10% in certain codebases. These come with huge gains from optimizations made in material-UI
and styled-components gaining up to 25% improvements.
